Since 2014, CTM Festival has supplemented its 10-day festival editions with a carefully curated print magazine relating to and expanding on the specific edition's theme and aesthetic focus.
The CTM Magazine Collection assembles the first six paperback editions of the CTM Festival magazine, spanning the years 2014-2019. Each magazine edition brings together contributions by curators, music journalists, researchers, theorists, musicians, and artists. It includes interviews, dialogues, academic essays, poetic reflections, and visual engaging with the festival theme in compelling ways.
Each magazine is approximately 100 pages. Design & layout by Marius Rehmet of Vojd.

The very first CTM magazine edition commemorates the festival’s 15th anniversary edition, which was constructed around the theme Dis Continuity. The most common and accepted narratives of music’s radical evolution over the past century favour a few exceptional individuals whose stories exemplify major, bold-stroked revolutions and transitions. But this history is underwritten by the innovation of countless others. Adopting a less hierarchical perspective, the works included in this compendium illuminate select trajectories in experimental and electronic music that until now have remained under the radar but continue to inform and influence music today.
